The ULTRA-PLUS Training Prong Collar is a classic version designed for professional dog training. Featuring a center-plate and assembly chain construction in steel chrome-plated finish with 2 rings.

Wire Gauge & Sizing Guide

• 2.25mm – fits up to a 13" neck; designed for dogs up to 40 lbs
• 3mm – fits up to an 18" neck; designed for dogs up to 88 lbs
• 3.2mm – fits up to a 19" neck; designed for dogs up to 88 lbs
• 4mm – fits up to a 21" neck; designed for dogs up to 154 lbs

If your dog exceeds the starting length capacity of your suggested wire gauge size, you will need to purchase additional middle links.

Material Care

This material is NOT stainless and can rust over time. Always dry the collar when wet. Clean with water and a mild, non-abrasive soap, then thoroughly dry. Herm-Sprenger Diamond Paste is NOT recommended for this material as it may damage the finish. This product contains nickel, which can occasionally cause fur discoloration in light-coated dogs — this is harmless and can usually be washed out with mild soap and water. If you live near the coast or your dog gets wet often, we recommend the Stainless Steel version instead.

Regularly inspect your collar for bent prongs, damaged chain, warped rings, or other signs of weakness. Bent prongs can be gently adjusted with pliers.

Safety Notice

We do not condone the improper use of training prong collars. This collar is only recommended for use on a lead and during training — not suitable for off-leash use or during travel. We do not advise use on dogs under 7–9 months old (breed dependent) or outside the intended weight class. If you are new to using a prong collar, please consult with an experienced trainer.
